The Prussian Meander Tiara

The tiara was created in 1905 as a wedding gift to Duchess Cecillie of Mecklenburg - Schwerin from Prince Wilhelm. Duchess Cecillie gave the tiara as a wedding gift to her daughter-in-law, Grand Duchess Kira of Russia in 1938. In 1965, Princess Marie Cecile of Prussia wore the tiara on her wedding day. The tiara continued to be worn by Prussian brides in 21th century. Princess Sophie of Prussia wore the tiara on her wedding day in 2011 and Princess Viktoria Luise of Prussia wore the tiara on her wedding day in 2017.
