The Grand Duchess Stephanie's Pearl Tiara
Historical Information :
The tiara was created circa 1830 for Grand Duchess Stephanie of Baden. In 1860 Queen Carola of Saxony (Princess then) inherited the tiara from her grandmother and in 1907 bequeathed the tiara to her cousin Princess Marie. Princess Marie left the tiara to her daughter-in-law in 1912. The tiara was left to Queen Marie Jose by her mother as a birthday gift. Queen Marie Jose bequeathed the tiara to her daughter Princess Maria Gabriella.
