The Braganza Tiara
Historical Information :
The tiara was created in 1829 as a wedding gift from Emperor Pedro I of Brazil to Empress Amelie. The tiara was inherited by her sister, Queen Josephine of Sweden & Norway in 1873. Queen Sophia (in 1876 ), Queen Victoria (in 1913), Queen Louise (in 1930) inherited the tiara from their mother-in-laws. Queen Silvia of Sweden has been the owner of the tiara since 1965.
