Queen Victoria Eugenie's Fleur de Lys Tiara
Historical Information :
The tiara was created in 1906 as a wedding gift to Queen Victoria Eugenie from her husband, King Alfonso XIII. The tiara was inherited by Princess Maria Mercedes in 1969. Queen Sofia became the owner of the tiara as a Queen of Spain in 1975 and she gave the tiara to her daughter-in-law Queen Letizia when she became the new Queen of Spain in 2014.
