Queen Marie Amelie's Tiara
Historical Information :
The tiara was created in 1839 for Queen Marie Amelie using the diamonds, sapphires, and pearls that belonged to her. Queen Marie Amelie bequeathed the tiara to Prince Antoine, the youngest son of her. Prince Antoine left the tiara to her daughter, Princess Marie Isabelle in 1890. Prince Philippe inherited the tiara after the death of his mother in 1919. Princess Isabella of Orleons (the daughter of Prince Philippe) started to wear the tiara in the 1920's.
