Queen Maria Christina's Pearl & Diamond Tiara
Historical Information :
The tiara, created in 1886 using diamonds and pearls for Queen Maria Christina of Spain, was inherited by King Alfonso XIII of Spain in 1929. He then gifted it to his daughter-in-law, Princess Maria Mercedes, as a wedding gift in 1935. The tiara has been worn by two future Queens of Spain, Queen Sofia and Queen Letizia.
