Queen Alexandra's Kokoshnik Tiara
Historical Information :
The tiara was created in 1888 for Queen Alexandra as a gift from Ladies of Society to celebrate her 25th wedding anniversary. In 1925, the tiara was inherited by Queen Mary after the death of her mother-in-law, Queen Alexandra. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II inherited the tiara after the death of her grandmother, Queen Mary in 1953.
