Grand Duchess Adelaide's Tiara
Historical Information :
The tiara was created using diamonds and a sapphire circa 1870 for Grand Duchess Marie Adelaide of Luxembourg. In 1919, Grand Duchess Charlotte inherited the tiara after the abdication of her elder sister. Both Grand Duchess Josephine and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa also wore the tiara. The tiara has been worn not only by Grand Duchesses but also by many other women in the family.
